About the role

The role is a broad and challenging one, with a variety of different responsibilities. This role is a full-time position based in Robina. This position would be well suited to an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a keen interest in developing their experience in administration within the accounting and professional services industry. 

This role includes but is not limited to: 

  • Reception duties, operation of switch, firm voicemail services & mail
  • Appointments & calendar maintenance for Managing Director and senior staff 
  • Stationary, amenity and supplier management
  • General client services & administration duties  
  • ATO administration and document lodgement
  • ASIC administration and document lodgement
  • Client on-boarding and new client engagement  
  • Client information requests
  • Preparation of DocuSign client signing packages and forms 
  • Corporate filing & scanning
  • Debtor management

What you'll need to succeed 

Although we work collaboratively, the ability to work autonomously without distraction is key to this role.  We operate with a strong client focus and pride ourselves on being efficient with our communication. Having strong written and in-person communication skills would be essential for this role as there will be a strong client facing requirement. The ability to be able to manage your time and workflow independently and effectively are also important attributes that the successful candidate must possess.   The role requires a high level of proficiency, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high paced environment.

  • Xero XPM (essential) 
  • Xero (essential) 
  • Microsoft Office or Office 365 Suite (essential) 
  • Now Infinity or other ASIC integration software (essential) 
  • ATO Online Services for Agents portal (essential)
  • DocuSign or other digital signing platform (essential)
  • Practice Ignition (preferred, not essential) 
  • FYI Documents (preferred, not essential) 
  • Simple Fund 360 (preferred, not essential) 
  • MYOB (preferred, not essential)  
  • Zoom (preferred, not essential) 

The ideal candidate will have 2 years minimum experience in a similar role within a Public Practice Accounting Firm. Corporate and professional presentation along with excellent communication (written and verbal) are key components to this role and the successful applicant.
